Culture Sensitivity Test. It is important to determine the grain of bacteria and virus that’s causing an infection to match the proper medication that will exterminate it. Culture samples are taken from urine, suspected skin infection, umbilicus, nasopharynx and blood.

Biopsy. This invasive procedure are applicable to severe organ inflammation like osteomyelitis, endocarditis and meningitis.

X-ray, MRI and CT scan. These are diagnostic procedures to provide visual illustrations of the affected organs such as lungs for pneumonia, MRI for heart conditions and CT scan for brain involvement.

Staphylococcus aureus is the suspected culprit for food poisoning incidents that happened for clusters of people like in birthday parties, wedding receptions and other social gathering. These people will experience the staph infection symptoms two ours after ingesting infected food.
