1. Remove the battery and sim card if your phone has one.
2. Take a soft clothe and dry off the water as much as you can. You can gently shake the phone to get big drops of water out.
3. Go to the kitchen and grab a bowl that is large enough for your phone to fit in comfortably. Get enough raw rice to fill the bowl. Then bury your phone in the rice inside the bowl so that it is completely covered. You can now wait overnight while your phone is being dried out. Put the battery in the bowl of rice too.
4. Wait overnight to reassemble and test your phone.
Bonus Hints: If you have an area near a dehumidifier or air conditioner that will additionally help remove the moisture from the phone.
